VIII Annual Conference with International Participation
City IT 2017 "Digital Future"
IT City is the largest regional conference dedicated to entrepreneurs and professionals working in the field of information technology. Founded in 2010 as a seminar on Internet marketing, for 7 years the City of IT has evolved into a platform with international participation for communication of entrepreneurs, IT professionals, as well as authorities with more than 800 participants.
VIII Annual Conference City IT will be held on November 10-11, 2017. in Tomsk under the heading "Digital future". This year the organizers of the conference set an ambitious goal to inform the public (business, government, universities) about how the world will change in the next 3-5 years due to the rapid development of IT. And, more importantly, to build a "bridge" between global industry trends, government initiatives and concrete actors in order to integrate into future realities and remain competitive.
Changes in Information Technology are so fast that even the immediate participants of the market do not have time to understand which direction the further movement will take. This issue is far from idle for a wide range of businessmen and managers, because IT has recently had such a serious impact on all other industries. Information technologies are the driver of the transformations of many other industries: they not only change the quantitative indicators of the economy, but qualitatively change its structure.
Mindful of the applied significance of the conference, it is planned to review the future for 3-5 years ahead, so that each listener, first of all, can learn for himself not only interesting but useful, practical information.
Key objectives of the conference in 2017:
• Coverage of emerging opportunities in various industries for the next 3-5 years associated with the rapid development of IT: previously unattainable automation, the emergence of new business models based on IT solutions, trends, new threats and opportunities.
• Discussion of the development and transformation of the IT industry branches in the transition to a digital economy.
• Discussion of humanitarian problems and aspects of universal digitalization. The role of man in the new world.
